Do I have to buy GrowBridge hardware?
No. GrowBridge is hardware-agnostic — it connects the sensors and controllers you already own (PulseGrow, Bluelab Guardian, OpenSprinkler, and more) through their public APIs. There is no required purchase and no vendor lock-in.
Will the AI change my setpoints on its own?
No. Every recommendation is human-in-the-loop: GrowBridge suggests, and you review and approve before anything runs. There is no black-box automation acting behind your back.
What does it cost?
It is free during beta — no credit card. Pro is planned at $29/mo when advanced features ship, and Commercial starts at $80/mo for audit-ready records and team controls. You will always see the price before you upgrade.
Is my grow data private?
Your data is yours. We do not sell grow data, and your hardware keys are stored encrypted in your private account vault — bring your own keys and revoke them anytime. Location sharing is optional and used only for weather context.
What if my exact sensor brand isn't supported yet?
Tell us — grower feedback drives the roadmap, and hardware with a documented public API jumps the queue. The Hardware page shows what is live, what is experimental, and what is on the grower queue, each honestly labeled. No vaporware.
Does GrowBridge include a grow journal?
Yes — the Grow Journal is live for approved beta growers. It composes a daily log automatically from your stored sensor readings: deterministic, hardware-grounded, and grower-editable. Nothing is fabricated. Pro beta growers get full journal access — $0 during the beta program, then part of the Pro subscription and up — including weekly and monthly rollups, CSV and PDF export, and a graph replay for any logged day.
